A Chartered Chemical Engineer (First Class Honours), Mick has 20 years of experience in the energy from waste and renewables sector. Mick was formerly the CEO of a listed waste management PLC and was previously MD of a highly successful waste recycling business and Operations Director of a clinical and animal waste incineration business. Mick began his career in the nuclear industry where he held roles as plant manager and senior commercial manager in a uranium chemical and ceramics business.
Mick has led and advised a range of companies through start-ups, significant growth and expansion phases, business turnarounds, new technology developments, new plant construction, project and company financing. With his technical expertise, wide-ranging experience and depth of knowledge, with a clear and personable communication style, Mick is comfortable working with all levels of a company and its stakeholders.
Tanja has over 20 years of experience in industry and has worked with entrepreneurial SME’s across a range of sectors including energy from waste, recycling, construction and engineering.
Tanja has significant experience in developing, implementing and executing financial business strategies to drive sustainable growth plans. She has extensive practical experience in leading change, mergers and acquisitions, raising funds (private equity and public funding), restructuring, performance improvement and cash management. At the same time, she is focused on implementing robust financial frameworks to aid business strategy forming the basis for effective risk management in order to identify, evaluate and manage risk exposure whilst ensuring best practice, compliance and good corporate governance.
Deborah is a highly experienced commercial and contracts manager in the waste and renewables sector. She has held senior contracts manager roles and also managed the commercial and logistics team of a highly successful collection and recycling business. Deborah is highly experienced in tender and bid management through to the implementation and maintenance of management systems, including comprehensive O&M and documentation suites.
In addition, Deborah has worked on feasibility models for potential new builds and improvement programmes for operational sites maximising potential revenues and reducing operational expenditure
